So what does the rig look like?
Where do you operate?
LYNX Entertainment is based in the City of Southend-on-Sea but operates in and around the whole of Essex.
From September 2024, we will also be expanding to cover Kent as well!
Do you require a deposit?
We normally ask for a small deposit of £50 to reserve the slot for your event. This deposit will be deducted from the total fee and is not an additional cost.
This deposit can be paid via bank transfer or in cash if a suitable meeting place can be arranged.
I have had to cancel my event, what do I do?
If your event has been cancelled or postponed, please contact us ASAP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling us on 07831 527 278.
If your event is cancelled 35+ days before it was due to take place, we will issue a full refund on any deposit paid.
If your event is cancelled 20+ days before it was due to take place, we will issue a 50% refund on any deposit paid.
If your event is cancelled within 20 days of when it was due to take place, no refund will be issued... but you can transfer the deposit to another event, should you decide to rebook. This is at the discretion of the directors.
How do I make payment?
We require a deposit to reserve the slot for your event, see the 'Do you require a deposit?' tab for more details... this must be paid at the time of making the booking, normally via bank transfer, via PayPal, or in cash if a suitable meeting place can be agreed.
The remaining amount will be on the invoice that will be emailed to you when you make the booking. By default this is due on the day of the event after the DJ, or service is ready and set-up but before the event starts.
This can be paid either by Bank Transfer, PayPal, or in cash.
Bank Transfer: The bank details will be on the invoice issued at time of booking, please do not transfer straight into the entertainers account, as we will need to process it first. When the service is set-up and ready, make the transfer into LYNX Entertainment's account. The entertainer will then call our finance department to confirm payment has been received... then you are good to go!
PayPal: If you would rather pay by PayPal, then please let us know in advance as we will issue you with a PayPal Business Invoice so that you can make a fast & secure payment to us.
Cash: If you would rather pay by cash, that is no problem at all... you will be issued with a receipt.
